The Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA) is a research centre at the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, University College London (UCL) specialising in urban modelling, planning, visualisation, smart cities and web technology. It was set up by Professor Mike Batty, and is directed by Professor Andy Hudson Smith. I am currently employed as a Lecturer at CASA, and I completed my PhD at CASA in 2011.
You can get a good overview of current research at the CASA homepage, and on the CASA Blog Network Aggregator which bring together all the CASA affiliated blogs.
CASA has several great masters courses if you are interested in learning more about new techniques in urban analysis and visualisation. You can find more about course opportunities here.
